RIM (Reaction Injection Moulding)

RIM is a low-pressure moulding technique that combines two liquid components—an isocyanate and a polyol—which react chemically to form a polyurethane part. The materials are mixed and injected into a closed mould, where they expand and cure, creating lightweight, durable components

Different tooling options are available based on volume requirements, including silicone, model board, or aluminium moulds. With a wide range of RIM materials, parts can be engineered to meet specific performance needs, including flexibility, strength, and impact resistance.

Lightweight yet strong parts

Excellent for large, complex shapes

Lower tooling costs than traditional injection moulding

Ideal for automotive, medical, and industrial applications
